Do you live in one of the fittest cities in America?

Do you live in one of the fittest cities in America? A new list put out by the American College of Sports Medicine lists the nation's capital, Washington D.C. as the fittest city in the US. The ACSM took into account the percentage of residents who smoke, are obese, get regular physical activity, eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables per day, and have conditions such as diabetes and heart disease -- and they focused on local resources, such as parks, farmers' markets, number of primary health care providers, and crime rates.

In each of these cities there are people commited to living a healthy life. Whether you live in one of the fittest cities in the US or not you have to make the decision to get healthy and fit. The Transitions Lifestyle System® can help. Transitions focuses on healthy eating, behavior modification and body composition to transform individuals into the healthy people they deserve to become.
