Internet Marketing Tips – Sharing Photos

By now, you’ve probably accumulated hundreds of photos whether at a Market America International Convention, Moving-Up Seminars, vacations and more. You’re probably left scratching your head, as to what you should do with all of the great photos that you took.

Rather than let your photos (and presumably your memory cards) collect dust, why not put them online! There are a number of online photo-sharing sites to help you do this. I personally recommend using Flickr for the following reasons…
  • Integrates with other social networking sites like ma Chatterbox and Facebook.
  • There’s a great light-weight uploader to help you post photos quickly.
  • It helps drive more traffic to your site!
So how do you do this?
  1. Visit Flickr and sign-up for an account (using your business name)
  2. Download the Flickr Uploader
  3. Drag your photos onto the Flickr Uploader and add in a description and link to your web portal, as well as tags (like who is in the photo, your business name, your portal address, etc…)
Once you’ve put all of your photos online with appropriate tags and descriptions, you can organize them by event, year or however you like.

You’re probably wondering why you should include descriptions, tags and website links in your photos. The great thing about including this information is that it will help expose your website to others and drive traffic back to your site!

Travel and Save

In these economic times, everyone is looking for a way to save a few bucks. So here are some money saving tips for traveling to International Convention this year:


  • Adjust your heating and cooling systems at home to save money and energy while you are not there.

  • If flying, book flights early to save on rising fares, or use a travel site such as travelocity.

  • Ask as friend to drop you off at the airport instead of paying for parking.

  • Most airlines are charging up to $15 per 50lb bag so bring only one and weigh it before you leave the house.

  • If possible, coordinate with others traveling from your hometown to carpool or even organize a bus for a large group.

  • Share a hotel room with one of your fellow travelers, and be sure to check out the special rates at the host hotel. Don’t forget to mention you are with Market America for your low rate.

  • Check with the local Convention and Visitors Bureau for coupons to receive discounts at local restaurants.

  • Stop at the grocery store and stock up on snacks and bottled water, so you aren’t eating at a restaurant every meal.

  • Take advantage of the hotel’s coffee maker and skip the Starbucks run.

  • Take advantage of discounted bus transportation to and from the coliseum- call 1-800-344-1541 for more info.

Wow! Convention is almost here. Showtime!! I can't wait to see your smiling faces there. I can't remember ever being so excited going into an event with so much to announce and share!

Well It is that time that I personally turn my entire focus to getting people to the convention. You know we have a record number of tickets sold with over 23,000, but with the new 360 degree configuration there are a few hundred seats that we freed up so that new people could get in. That won't last past this week. But lets make sure there are no unused tickets. If anyone has a unused ticket, please call upline, put it out on chatterbox or your voice mail network and let the events department know because people are looking for them. Make sure every one that counts in your organization is there. There is so much taught at Convention that it is impossible to transfer all of the knowledge to people who are not there. How do you bring everyone up to date on all the new technology, new products, new programs, new techniques and new developments. The convention is action packed and information packed. Someone can order the downloads and we go over as much as we can at regional, but there is a delay and a lot of slippage if a Distributor is not at convention. It makes you have to work many times harder to get them up to speed--why not just get them there hell or high water!

I like to work smarter than harder. It is just easier to work hard to get everyone there in your organization that is important to you. And if you really want to grow and hit pin levels, the only short cut to success that I have ever discovered is to get people a record number of new people there for yourself if you are new that means 2 to 4. They will leave with a level of belief, understanding, and knowing what to do that could not otherwise be attained. They leave knowing that they are going to do it with you or without you. Wow! If you understand that--that makes you a hopeless success--you succeed because they do, That is why I call it the shortcut to success.

Undoubtedly you can accomplish 6 months of work and development with someone by getting them to the convention. I can't s[peak for anyone else, but I am ready to lay it on everyone as to how to build the business fast and the secrets I learned to program yourself, your group and to duplicate success quickly into a huge organization. As always we have an all-star cast, the most successful and knowledgeable people in the business teaching the fundamentals and all the experts to unveil for you all the breakthroughs and developments new releases that keep us ahead of the curve. There are so many surprises and exciting celebrity guests, but I am not allowed to tell. You just need to be there.

Josiah Cephas Weaver to Perform at The 2009 International Convention!

Fun Facts:

  • Josiah was born October 9, 1941 in Roanoke, VA.
  • He is the 7th child and one of three sons!
  • Josiah wrote his first song at the age of 5.
  • He left home at 15 -- with everything he owned in a brown, paper bag -- to make his way in the world.
  • By 19, he had already started his own business, Weaver Tile Company.
  • Despite becoming a successful businessman, Josiah never quit music.
  • When Josiah listened to JR and watched in awe of Market America at Miami World Conference, he began to write the song, "Freedom", to recognize the spirit of Market America, its founder, and its people.
