Earth Day - Going Green, Staying Green

Earth Day is fast approaching, April 22. Earth Day means something different to each of us. For some, Earth Day is a day of celebration for the things we enjoy like food and water. For some, Earth Day is a day of enlightenment, a day to reflect and reevaluate our daily activities and make small changes that are more earth friendly. For some, Earth Day is a day of community involvement – a day to join a roadside clean up group, a day to participate in a seminar on green living.

This year, celebrate Earth Day by turning off all of the lights in the house and using candles instead. Turn off the TV and read a book. Take a walk or ride a bike instead of driving somewhere.

With the realization that there are many things we can do to reduce our carbon footprint, many individuals and businesses are making small changes that individually might not seem to be much but collectively can have a profound impact on our planet. Market America has been at the forefront of the green movement from the very beginning with eco-friendly cleaning products like GlobalCare™ that are made with nontoxic, biodegradable, phosphate-free, enzyme based cleaners. Or Snap™, with products made with nontoxic, biodegradable, phosphate free, plant based ingredients. Or PureH2O, which help to reduce waste in landfills generated from plastic water bottles. Or Autoworks™ High Performance Auto Care, with products made with nontoxic, biodegradable, phosphate free, plant based ingredients.

Here is a list of “green” products that Market America offers:

Happy Earth Day and remember that there are small things you can do to make a better, more eco-friendly environment. If you’re looking for an Earth Day activity to get your family involved, check out this website with links to local Earth Day events.
