Resveratrol in the News

Resveratrol has grown in popularity quite a bit over the past few years. From combating the anti-aging process to fighting cardiovascular disease, it has been hailed as a powerhouse antioxidant. When I first heard about Reservatrol a few years ago, I honestly thought it was just another antioxidant on the market. After reading numerous articles about it, I started to understand that it really might work. If you aren’t aware of the French culture, their diets mainly consist of high fat foods (good fat) and red wine. Even though the French consume these foods, the culture is better able to maintain a healthier cellular and cardiovascular health and despite the high fat intake, the French have lower rates of heart disease. Resveratrol is the ingredient in red wine that made headlines in November of 2006 when scientists demonstrated that it kept overfed mice from gaining weight, turned them into the equivalent of Olympic marathoners, and seemed to slow down their aging process. Some researchers believe that Resveratrol might be the key ingredient in red wine that helps prevent damage to blood vessels, reduces "bad" cholesterol and prevents blood clots.

There was a special on ABC last week by Barbara Walters about living to be 150. In this special, she talked about the secrets and breakthroughs of the aging process. She also mentioned Resveratrol in this special. To check out the article and watch the video – click on the link below:

I saw the video and the one thing that catch my attention is when he said that it will take 1,000 bottles of red wine to have the benefit from the resveratrol. Now, our reveratrol has (one serving) the equivalent of 95 bottles? If that is the case, how can I explain someone that our is powerfull enough? Is it powerfull enough?

My Grandmother's Cardiologist actually emailed me following the Walter's special. He has already been pleasantly surprised at our Heart Health System and the benefits that she is experiencing.

Ironically she had taken the Resveratrol product card into him last week to make sure that she could take it. Because of the additional press his interest has been perked in our products. Perhaps we will see him as one of our newest nutraMetrix health care professionals soon. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I'm getting the same comments as is "anonymous". this story explains it has to be 1,000 times stronger than a glass of wine, and ours is 100-300 stronger. customers are asking "why buy yours instead of waiting for his to come out?". My answer is his is not out yet, and won't be for a long while if he's getting FDA approval. Our Isotonix Resveratrol is the best on the market right now. However, I'm guessing his will be a perscription, not over the counter. Hopefully, Isotonix is aware of this research and are working on ways to increase ours to 1,000 times or more.
