Good Morning Voitel® users...
I had the pleasure of listening to the Honorable Al Gore speak about mobility and ‘going green’ this morning. He kept referring to how mobility empowers the individual. This is so true and with some of the new applications coming our way, the sky is the limit as to what is within your control via wireless technology.

As a matter of fact, there are mobile operators, like ClearWire, who are building out infrastructure for mobile devices that are still in concept stages and don't even exist yet. There are mobile devices that can do crazy things like analyze crop data so as to prevent over fertilization with pesticides. We can do this now! There is even Mobile Health Care.
Imagine how empowering you with the ability to manage your health from your mobile phone would be. I am impressed with the evolution of mobility and I am even more impressed that we are only in the infancy phase of global connectivity. I guess there really is no ceiling to what you can imagine.

Did you take a picture of Al Gore when he was talking to everybody in convention?
Green for Clean? Or Green For Dollars? Or Both?
Hi Anonymous #1...good morning...
I tried to take a picture of Al Gore but the backdrop presentation blurred the image.
I can answer your question by saying both. He is all for companies & individuals making money AND also for 'Going Green'. You can read excerpts from his speech at http://www.moconews.net/entry/419-al-gores-ctia-keynote-now-open-to-the-media/.

All this is great
Are we close to getting wireless (satellite) internet service for our Laptops?
Hi Anonymous #2...good morning...
The coolest thing I saw at the CTIA Wireless Convention last week was ClearWire's network build out initiative for WiMax and 4G. Funny you should ask though because I am working very diligently on bringing some of this new 4G/WiMax wireless technology for laptops as a future Voitel offering. It is still just an idea that is on the 'white board' so I will have to keep you posted.
In the meanwhile, have you tried Voitel's Data Card? We have plans designed for everyone and you can add that service to your wireless plan and we will not ask you to renew your contract. Would you like to take a look at one of these?

Al Gore, please...
Hi Anonymous #4...good morning...
I like to acknowledge everyone's comments on the Voitel blogs and thank you for your input. While it is not like me to comment on political positions, I have to say that Al was a great speaker. I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can get in front of a crowd and create excitement. That requires quite a bit of talent and I am very impressed with him and others, like Dennis Franks, JR, etc., that can present clear, well thought out points of view. He was very insightful and pretty funny too.
